The Library won an international Green Library Award
Our Climate Writer in Residence program earned us the Best Green Library Project award from the International Federation of Library Associations and Institutions (IFLA).
In 2022, the Library offered 26,024 programs and regained pre-pandemic circulation numbers. We made big strides to reduce our carbon footprint, enhance the customer service experience, and develop groundbreaking programs.

The Library Bound Social Tea attendees now receive free transportation and snacks thanks to a generous gift to the WVML Foundation from the RBC Foundation along with some volunteer time from local RBC employees.
