Hello, Fall!

We were thrilled to see so many West Vancouver Schools students in the Library over the summer (did you know that every single elementary school had at least 25% of students registered in Summer Reading Club!?) Now, we’re looking forward to supporting you all with the transition back to your Fall routines.

Summer Reading Club

Medals + Trophies

Pick up your Medal

Read for 50 days or more this summer but missed the Medal Ceremony? No problem!

Collect your medal anytime September 16–30 at the Youth Desk.

SRC School Trophies

The three trophies will be awarded to the schools with the largest percentage of students registered AND the largest percentage of students who complete their 50 days of reading and pick up their medal.

The winning schools will be announced October 5.

We want to hear from you!

What do you want to see in a future Youth Department space?

Our space hasn’t been renovated for decades, and it has the potential to be better for kids, teens, and adults. It’s time to grow!

Fill out our survey by October 25 and you will be entered to win a $100 Park Royal gift certificate! Everyone in your family or classroom can fill out a survey and be eligible for the prize draw – we have one survey for Kids + Teens and one for adults.
