Carey Newman/Hayalthkin’geme’s Witness Blanket 

The Witness Blanket is an art installation of 880 objects collected from residential schools, churches, and government buildings across Canada.

 

A replica of this piece from the Canadian Museum for Human Rights will be exhibited in the Library's Main Hall from January 26 to March 10.

The Library will be closed from December 24 to 26. It will be open from December 27 to 31 with reduced hours from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and will be closed on January 1.
