Hear about the incredible research from the UBC IDEA Lab on how social robots improve local seniors' lives and what it could mean for the future.

Carey Newman/Hayalthkin’geme’s Witness Blanket 

The Witness Blanket is an art installation of 880 objects collected from residential schools, churches, and government buildings across Canada.

A replica of this piece from the Canadian Museum for Human Rights will be exhibited in the Library's Main Hall from January 26 to March 10. 

Join us for the opening evening reception on January 26.

Holiday Hours

The Library will be closed from December 24 to 26. It will be open from December 27 to 31 with reduced hours from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and will be closed on January 1.

 2023/2024 North Shore Authors Collection

Explore the literary works of 76 talented authors from the North Shore, Bowen Island, and Lions Bay; this collection is available at all three North Shore Libraries.
