Looking to share your skills as a lawyer, accountant, educator, or in the not-for-profit and government sectors? Volunteer as a Trustee for the West Vancouver Memorial Library Board. All West Vancouver residents are welcome to apply, regardless of whether their skills align perfectly with our requirements, as we value diversity.

Closing soon: the Witness Blanket

Can one piece of art act as a witness, interlocutor, and critical reflector? Carey Newman's Witness Blanket does exactly that by telling the story of more than 130 residential schools that operated across Canada for over a century through over 800 found objects.

Local Voices: Holiday 1909 with Lid Hawkins

Wednesday, March 13, 6 – 7:30 p.m.

In 1909, four members of the BC Mountaineering Club hiked into the Seymour Creek to map the area, their packs loaded with supplies, photography and surveying equipment, watercolour paints, a rifle, and … a pie.

 

Author Lid Hawkins will speak about her book that details her grandfather's grand adventure.

Family Cardboard Building Fun | Ages 5+

Rocket ships and castles and robots, oh my! Families work together with Makedo (child-safe tools) and upcycled cardboard to build just about anything.
