Adopt-A-Fish: Salmon Release and Storytime

Saturday April 27 Children will have the opportunity to release Coho salmon into McDonald Creek and learn more about the life cycle of these fish.

Salmon Release

Pick up your Adopt-a-Fish Certificate and head to Memorial Park (across the street) to release a juvenile Coho Salmon into the wild! 

Coast Salish Weaving Workshop | Grades 4-6 

Create a small quarter bag with weaver Spelexílh Anjeanette Dawson on a cardboard loom and learn more about traditional Coast Salish wool weaving history.

An action-packed hour of Lego building, challenges, and activities!

Introduction to Dash | Grades 6-7 
Build computational thinking skills and learn the basics of command language using Dash Robots. 
Thursday, May 23, 3:30–4:45 p.m. 

Introduction to Drones | Grades 5-6 
Explore the fundamentals of drone flight using the Kids with Drones simulator software.

Introduction to Sphero | Grades 3-4 
Develop computational thinking skills and learn the basics of command language using Sphero Robots.

A friendly reminder: all kids under the age of 10 need to use the Library with an adult or attentive caregiver.
