Book Launch: Jody Wilson-Raybould’s Reconciling History

Join the Honourable Dr. Jody Wilson-Raybould, bestselling author, as she discusses her highly anticipated new book, Reconciling History, at this exclusive launch book event hosted by Iron Dog Books and WVML.

Co-authored with Dr. Roshan Danesh, Reconciling History offers a powerful and profound narrative of our land—devastating, remarkable, and illuminating—told through the voices of both Indigenous and non-Indigenous peoples.

We will be open on Remembrance Day (Monday, November 11), following the ceremony and reception, from 1 to 5 p.m. Plus, on November 7, join us for a local author talk with Roddy MacKenzie, who will share the remarkable story of Bomber Command and its crucial role in the Second World War, drawing inspiration from his father’s service.

In honour of our veterans, the Friends of the Library will host the Remembrance Day reception, a tradition since 1975. Library doors will open after the ceremony at the Memorial Arch. The Friends will serve refreshments, and the Dundarave Players will provide music.
