North Shore Reads: The Pain Project – Kara Stanley and Simon Paradis in Conversation with Marsha Lederman [VIRTUAL]
Wednesday, January 28, 6:30 – 8 p.m.
 
 In The Pain Project: A Couple’s Story of Confronting Chronic Pain, Kara and Simon record their honest conversations, insightful journal entries, and affectionate banter, all while addressing the nature of suffering and pain.
 
For the fifth North Shore Reads event, we invite you to a thoughtful online conversation between Kara, Simon, and The Globe and Mail’s Marsha Lederman on what it means when we confront our pain head on.

Library Champions Information Night
The Library Champions Project is a three-month volunteer program for newcomers to Canada who learn to conduct outreach to other newcomers in their communities. Take training sessions, and then volunteer!
